My first draft

To be honest, I’m not much of a diary person or someone who documents what happens in my life, but I thought I’d try this out for a change.

Growing up in a loving but strict household, I want to avoid conflict as much as possible. I just wanted to stay on the sidelines, away from the spotlight. Making a journal about my day and writing it on paper would mean that there’s a chance that someone will read through its contents. I made that mistake in elementary when I wrote a diary about my crush (yes, I cringe every time I remember that). My grandmother would bug me about it, and I don’t want ever to have that kind of conversation. I mean, I love my family, but I’m not too fond of it when they pry on my life or my things. So this experience stems from my desire not to make diaries or journals a thing.

Maybe this is the reason why I prefer to bottle up my thoughts and feelings. It is only a matter of time before everything pours out, and you have nothing to redirect this emotion, which is happening now. I needed a new outlet to release my thoughts.

Also, the fact that someone can use your diary against you is a very frightening thought. I mean, to use your thoughts against you? No thanks, though. I watch too many movies.

P.S. It has been a long time since I wrote something like this, so excuse the grammars, etc.
